Make your Team Staff aware of any health issues your child has that could affect them while involved in a team activity before the start of the season. To include food allergies concerning the end-of-the-game drink/snack.
Attendance
Players should attend each team activity when possible, even if they need to arrive late or leave early. When a player needs to miss a team activity, let your Head Coach and Team Manager know at least a day in advance. If a U12 or U15 team player is doing multiple activities, they just need to participate in 1 team practice each week.
Practice Arrival Time
Players should be dressed and ready to begin their practice at the designated time.
Sessions And Games Arrival Times
* U4 Team Players: 10 Minutes Before Session
* U6 Team Players: 15 Minutes Before Game
* U9 Team Players: 20 Minutes Before Game
* U12 Team Players: 30 Minutes Before Game

Drop Off And Pick Up
If you cannot stay for a team activity, let your team staff know this in advance. Return before the end of your team activity, as 2 team staff members or 2 adult team members must stay with the players until they are all picked up. If there is questionable weather, do not leave the team activity. Should someone other than the player’s parents be picking up the player after a team activity, let your team staff know this in advance.
Practices
If weather or field conditions warrant, or an unforeseen situation arises, a Head Coach may cancel their team’s practice, in which case the Head Coach will notify their team ASAP, team app communication, along with a text, call, and/or email. The NWYSA may also decide, because of field conditions, to cancel a day’s practices, in which case your team’s Head Coach will be notified ASAP. Canceled practices will not be rescheduled.

Each family and team is asked to help ensure their children do not abuse the field equipment. Hanging on the goals, hanging on the nets, pulling on the corner flags, jumping on the team benches, hanging on the pop-up tents, or smashing the sprinkler covers.
Debris
Each family and team is asked to help ensure their children do not bring in from the woods, branches, sticks, and rocks, as these create field safety issues.

Each family and team is asked to help ensure the units are not misused or treated as a trash cans.
Repairs And Improvements
During the summer, once the school/playing year are both done, is when the majority of repairs and improvements are able to be done to the fields. At the end of March, beginning of April, weather dependent, what possible repairs and improvements can be done will be done to the fields. Seasonal repairs are done as needed.
Divorced Parents
The NWYSA's position concerning divorced parents is that they need to put aside their differences and come together for their child's sake, and that of their child's team. Both parents will be treated as equals and kept updated unless there is a court order stating the NWYSA must do otherwise. Should one parent not permit their child to participate, the child will not be penalized in any way for only being able to make half of their team’s activities.
Member Conduct
It is the responsibility of each member and spectator in attendance at a NWYSA activity to conduct themselves civilly. Anyone who exhibits behavior tendencies that are detrimental to the enjoyment of others at an activity will be required to leave. All members are expected to adhere to the program’s policies, along with treating fellow members, including program and team staff, with appropriate civility and conduct, at or away from the field. Failure to do so will result in being dropped from the program without a refund.
Player Conduct
Players are expected to act appropriately towards their team staff and teammates, including program staff. If a confirmed incident occurs, the player will be given a verbal warning. If a confirmed second incident occurs, the player will be suspended for a game/s. If a third confirmed incident occurs, the player may be dropped from the program without a refund, depending on the incident/s that have taken place.
Smoking And Alcohol
The Walker Charter Academy property has been designated a no-smoking and alcohol free zone. Make any guest you may invite aware of this.
Flags, Banners, And Signs
The only flags, banners, and signs permitted to be displayed at any NWYSA activity are those that are NWYSA, soccer-related, or USA Patriotic.
Poaching
If you are contacted indirectly or directly, or are aware of an NWYSA member who has been contacted indirectly or directly by a representative of another program, or an NWYSA member acting on behalf of another program attempting to entice NWYSA members to leave the program during a season, notify the NWYSA. A member involved in this inappropriate conduct will be dropped from the program without a refund.
Divulging Information
Any NWYSA member divulging personal member information they’ve been entrusted with, such as team roster information, for their or anyone else's benefit will be dropped from the program without a refund, and may face legal action. Personal member information must be used strictly for NWYSA purposes only.
Problem Resolution
Should you have a team level on the field, for example, playtime, or off the field, for example, such as not being kept updated by your Head Coach, out of courtesy, talk to your Head Coach before contacting the NWYSA. If you cannot resolve your team level issue, contact the NWYSA. If a program level issue, contact both your Head Coach and the NWYSA. Please do not involve other members in your issue.
To Be Posted
To improve the NWYSA and to help make each season a more enjoyable experience for everyone, it's vital to receive suggestions on what might be done to achieve this goal. To include how you might help, as we’re always in need of additional volunteers. Constructive Feedback is needed for our program to move forward and fulfill its mission. While the NWYSA has its strengths and weaknesses, and cannot be everything to everyone, what can be done to help make our program a better one will continue to be done.
